The International Space Station

Important Facts The International Space station was started in 1998. When The ISS is finished it will weigh 500 tons!! The ISS is scheduled to be finished in 2011. The ISS had major delays in it's construction due to budget. N.A.S.A. plans on de-orbiting the ISS in 2016. It has been under construction for over a decade. It can be constructed three different ways. It consists of 70 separate major parts and 100 minor parts.
